Stepped away for a bit and took a week vacation to clear my mind and take care of myself a little bit, something we all need to do every once in awhile. But what I quickly realized is as an entrepreneur you never truly do break away and your mind is constantly searching for the next opportunity. I strongly believe that part of being an entrepreneur is having the unique ability of realizing an opportunity as it passes you by.
We as people are naturally presented opportunities everyday. The only problem is the majority of you will watch these opportunities pass right by. An entrepreneur has the unique ability to witness these opportunities and take action upon them. Where the average person over complicates the situation and over thinks, the entrepreneur reviews and takes action towards execution.
The true enemy of success is overthinking and over complicating which hinders the ability to execute. Execution is ultimately the key factor for success. However, what is often poorly portrayed is that hard work is the only facet of success.
Hard work is merely only one facet of success. If hard work was the only facet, construction workers, bartenders, landscapers would be the most successful individuals, but that’s not the only aspect. Many people spend years and years of their lives working hard on a given task, but if they are working in the wrong direction, they will never get to where they want to be financially. So remember, although you might be working towards a goal, you need to realize you could be working in the wrong direction.
As an entrepreneur you need to understand the multiple aspects to a successful business and financial freedom. Financial freedom is attainable for many, but the importance of recognizing an opportunity and combining the skills of execution, diligence, and creativity to the appropriate task is the ultimate combination.
